In June 2014 ForumArts organised the first National Sculpture Symposium with Marshall Murray and London Sculpture Workshop at Riverhill Himalayan Gardens in Kent. A selection panel of Julian Wild (ForumArts), Oliver Hawkins (Marshall Murray) and Alma Zevi (curator and writer) chose 6 artists to work intensively over 10 days to create ambitious and large-scale outdoor sculptures.
ForumArts are pleased to announce a London Conference to celebrate the National Sculpture Symposium and the launch of the Symposium publication. The conference is a great opportunity to meet and hear the artists talk about their projects and to discuss the role of sculpture in the countryside.
